Worsted Weight Recycled Cashmere Yarn in Dark Gray

100% cashmere yarn in dark gray, carefully reclaimed from a discarded men’s sweater, made in Scotland.  This yarn is worsted weight, soft to handle, yet strong.

This sweater yielded five large skeins, with no knots:

• 440 yards / 402 meters, 6.5 ounces / 183 grams
  
• 400 yards / 366 meters, 5.9 ounces / 167 grams
• 250 yards / 229 meters, 3.6 ounces / 103 grams (Quantity: 2)
• 130 yards / 119 meters, 1.9 ounces / 54 grams

Cashmere is light, warm, soft, and surprisingly durable. Handwash in lukewarm water with a wool-safe detergent (or a squirt of shampoo and a dab of conditioner), and dry flat.
