Lace Weight Recycled Silk Cashmere Yarn in Terracotta

85% silk, 15% cashmere yarn, lace weight, carefully reclaimed from a gently worn men’s sweater.  The color is a muted orange with pink and brown undertones, like terracotta.  This yarn is delightfully soft, yet strong.

This sweater yielded four skeins:

• 1,250 yards / 1,143 meters, 3.1 ounces / 87 grams, no knots
  
• 1,200 yards / 1,097 meters, 2.9 ounces / 83 grams, no knots
• 790 yards / 722 meters, 1.8 ounces / 51 grams, 2 knots
• 680 yards / 622 meters, 1.6 ounces / 45 grams, 2 knots
