Lace Weight Recycled Cashmere Yarn in Navy Blue

100% cashmere yarn, carefully reclaimed from a discarded men’s pullover.  This yarn is two-ply and a substantial lace weight, soft and luxurious. The color is a classic navy blue.

This sweater yielded five skeins:

• 700 yards / 640 meters, 2.6 ounces / 75 grams, no knots
• 620 yards / 567 meters, 2.4 ounces / 68 grams, no knots
• 560 yards / 512 meters, 2.2 ounces / 63 grams, 1 knot
• 450 yards / 411 meters, 1.85 ounces / 52 grams, 2 knots
• 440 yards / 402 meters, 1.8 ounces / 51 grams, 2 knots

Cashmere is light, warm, soft, and surprisingly durable. Handwash in lukewarm water with a wool-safe detergent (or a squirt of shampoo and a dab of conditioner), and dry flat.
