100% cashmere yarn, carefully reclaimed from a gently worn women’s sweater.  This yarn is two-ply and lace weight, soft and luxurious. The color is a crisp light blue.

This sweater yielded four skeins:

• 850 yards / 777 meters, 2.4 ounces / 67 grams, no knots
• 700 yards / 640 meters, 1.8 ounces / 52 grams, 0-1 knots
• 560 yards / 512 meters, 1.5 ounces / 42 grams, 1 knot

Cashmere is light, warm, soft, and surprisingly durable. Handwash in lukewarm water with a wool-safe detergent (or a squirt of shampoo and a dab of conditioner), and dry flat.
