Lace Weight Recycled Cashmere Yarn in Classic Red

100% cashmere yarn, carefully reclaimed from a discarded women’s sweater.  This yarn is two-ply and a substantial lace weight, soft and sturdy. The color is a classic red, trending towards crimson.

This sweater yielded four skeins:

• 610 yards / 558 meters, 2.6 ounces / 75 grams, 2 knots
• 400 yards / 366 meters, 1.7 ounces / 49 grams, 2 knots
• 370 yards / 338 meters, 1.6 ounces / 45 grams, 3 knots (Quantity: 2)

Cashmere is light, warm, soft, and surprisingly durable. Handwash in lukewarm water with a wool-safe detergent (or a squirt of shampoo and a dab of conditioner), and dry flat.
