Lace Weight Recycled Cashmere Yarn in Beige Tweed

100% cashmere yarn, carefully reclaimed from a discarded women’s sweater.  This yarn is two-ply and lace weight.  The color is a soft beige with little flecks of ivory and tan for added texture.

This sweater yielded four skeins:

• 550 yards / 503 meters, 1.7 ounces / 48 grams, 2 knots
• 500 yards / 457 meters, 1.6 ounces / 45 grams, 1-2 knots (3 available)

Cashmere is light, warm, soft, and surprisingly durable. Handwash in lukewarm water with a wool-safe detergent (or a squirt of shampoo and a dab of conditioner), and dry flat.
