Lace Weight Cashmere Recycled Yarn in Taupe

100% cashmere yarn, carefully reclaimed from a gently worn men's sweater.  This yarn is two ply and lace weight. The color is a medium greyish brown, or taupe. Soft and squishy, yet strong.

This sweater yielded five skeins, each with up to two knots:

• 670 yards / 613 meters, 2.6 ounces / 73 grams
• 620 yards / 567 meters, 2.4 ounces / 67 grams (Quantity: 2)
• 610 yards / 558 meters, 2.3 ounces / 66 grams
• 500 yards / 457 meters, 1.9 ounces / 54 grams

Cashmere is light, warm, soft, and surprisingly durable. Handwash in lukewarm water with a wool-safe detergent (or a squirt of shampoo and a dab of conditioner), and dry flat.
