Heavy Lace Weight Recycled Cashmere Yarn in Key Lime Green

100% cashmere yarn, carefully reclaimed from a discarded men’s sweater.  This yarn is four-ply and a heavy lace weight, soft, luxurious, and strong. The color is a light, soft, muted lime green or spring green.

This sweater yielded six skeins:

• 690 yards / 631 meters, 3.5 ounces / 100 grams, 2 knots
• 670 yards / 613 meters, 3.4 ounces / 97 grams, no knots
• 650 yards / 594 meters, 3.3 ounces / 94 grams, 2 knots
• 590 yards / 539 meters, 3.1 ounces / 88 grams, 1 knot
• 340 yards / 311 meters, 1.7 ounces / 49 grams, 2 knots

Cashmere is light, warm, soft, and surprisingly durable. Handwash in lukewarm water with a wool-safe detergent (or a squirt of shampoo and a dab of conditioner), and dry flat.
