Fingering Weight Recycled Cashmere Yarn in Muted Pink

100% cashmere yarn, carefully reclaimed from a gently worn women’s sweater.  This fingering weight yarn is made up of three fine 2-ply strands lightly twisted together, two in a muted pink and the third in a pinkish lavender gray. Soft, yet strong.

This sweater yielded four skeins:

• 480 yards / 439 meters, 3.8 ounces / 106 grams, 2-3 knots
• 430 yards / 393 meters, 3.4 ounces / 96 grams, 2 knots
• 400 yards / 366 meters, 3.1 ounces / 89 grams, 1 knot
• 360 yards / 329 meters, 2.8 ounces / 80 grams, no knots

Cashmere is light, warm, soft, and surprisingly durable. Handwash in lukewarm water with a wool-safe detergent (or a squirt of shampoo and a dab of conditioner), and dry flat.
