DK Weight Recycled Yak Merino Blend Yarn in Orchid Purple

50% yak, 50% merino wool yarn in a beautiful orchid purple, carefully reclaimed from a discarded women’s sweater.  This yarn is DK or heavy sport weight at about 11 wraps per inch.  It's soft, light, and warm.

This sweater yielded four skeins:

• 290 yards / 265 meters, 3.1 ounces / 89 grams, no knots
  
• 270 yards / 247 meters, 2.9 ounces / 82 grams, no knot
• 150 yards / 137 meters, 1.6 ounces / 46 grams, 2 knots
• 130 yards / 119 meters, 1.5 ounces / 41 grams, no knots
